TYPES OF WORK: Heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), air and water balancing, sheet metal roofing, architectural sheet metal, specialty sheet metal fabrication, industrial, service work, welding, and indoor air quality and energy management.

APPRENTICE AND JOURNEYMAN TRAINING PROGRAMS:
State certified apprentice training programs (4-year program)

MANDATORY SAFETY TRAINING: All apprentices receive mandatory safety training and are required to take Red Cross First Aid and C.P.R training. Local 100 has established an Alcohol/Substance Abuse Policy.

LOCAL 100 TRAINING INVESTMENT: $1,000,000 invested annually in apprentice and journeyman training. State-of-the-art training facilities and equipment valued at $1.4 million.

INTERNATIONAL TRAINING SYSTEM: Local union training programs supported by the International Training Institute (I.T.I.), $7.5 million invested annually to provide nationwide standardized apprentice and journeyman training.

LOCAL 100 FRINGE BENEFIT PROGRAMS: All journeymen and apprentices covered by health insurance plan (includes life insurance, dental, eye care, prescription drugs), pension plan and 401-K or annuity plans.

CONTRACTOR BASE: Over 100 signatory contractors, all sheet metal applications and specialties. Additional nationwide base of signatory contractors.
