Local 100 maintains training centers in each of their area offices
for the purpose of training apprentices to become journeymen sheet
metal workers and for the purpose of specialized training for our
current journeymen members. Contact the offices listed below for
additional information about our training programs.

- Must be 18 years of age
- Four years apprenticeship program
- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Must be physically fit to perform the work of the sheet metal trade
- Must be able to pass a drug test prior to acceptance into the program
- Tests consist of Math and Spatial Relationships (matching up different shapes)
- Must have a current application on file in order to take tests - Test Day usually last Friday of the month – test times 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. – Picture I.D. required to take the test-arrive 15-30 minutes before test time.
- Sample tests available for pick up only between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Applicants must have reliable transportation

month
- Four year program
- Each school year runs from September through May
- Classes are two nights per week from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.
- Must be 18 years of age by the start of our school year
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Prefer applicant to have transportation as Local 100 covers
a vast territory
- Journeymen upgrading classes in welding and testing & balancing
are also available
